Should I write a book based on japanese folklore and myhtology?

I'm totally with you, I'm doing the same thing but it's mix with other folklore like German and Spanish. But with mine I'm having sort of a glossary with any terms that I use since not everyone is not going to understand what I'm saying. Like shinigami (god of death), kagami (mirror), neko (cat), uta (song), shinijitsu (truth), etc.
