What type of guitar should I get?

I'm trying to pick out a guitar for me to get. I want to get an acoustic guitar that has good sound quality because my acoustic guitar does not sound good at all. I like the epiphone dove but I'm not sure if it's good quality or not. I would like it to cost around $300 but I will exceed the budget if it's a really good guitar. Oh yeah and I'm on the short size so no huge guitars. Also, I would like for it to have great tone but not be extremely hard to play. I have been playing for about two years but I have the skill of a person who has played for five (as told by my teacher). Most of the music I play will be Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen,, original music, and acoustic covers of popular songs.
