Bruce lee- martial arts legend?

As a young man, Bruce Lee was very prideful and did, in fact, get into more than a few fights over someone's insulting words. That's a big part of how his legend got started. Later, while he was still in Hong Kong but had built his reputation to a level where he was well known people would challenge him on the streets, hoping to get bragging rights for having beat the legend, only to be beat down just so he could get on with his business. He had a very traditional view in such matters: a fight was always preceded by a formal or semi-formal challenge, and then he opened his can of whupass.
